Introduction:
This is an online PDF (Portable Document Format) web qpplication that performs several operations on them.
You can select one operation at a time and multiple PDF files, the application will apply the selected operation
to all of your uploaded PDFs and automatically generate a Zip archive.
The maximum file size you can upload is 100 Mb.
1- Encrypting PDF Files:
Please make sure your that all your uploaded files are decrypted as applying encryption on encrypted
files will not work. The provided password will be applied to all your documents.
2- Decrypting PDF Files:
In order to perform this process successfully, you need to provide the correct password. All uploaded PDFs
should have the same password. For example, if you upload sample1.pdf and sample2.pdf
and both are encrypted, both files must be encrypted with the same passwowrd in order for decryption to work.
If you have two different passwords for two different documents, upload and decrypt each document individually.
3- Merging PDFs (Provide at least 2 PDFs):
This operation works in this way, the first selected PDF from your browser file selection windows will
be merged with all PDFS selected after it. For example: if you would like to append all pages of sample2.pdf
to sample1.pdf, select first sample1.pdf and then select sample2.pdf. The resulting PDF will have all pages
of sample1.pdf first and all pages of sample2.pdf APPENDED to sample1.pdf. The metadata
of sample1.pdf will be preserved.
4- Extracting Texts:
This operation extracts all texts from all pages. Note that some PDFs documents can contain photos
that have some texts. This operation will not be able to extract texts from photos in your PDF.
Please don't upload encrypted PDFS, as this operation will fail to extract images from encrypted PDFs.
5- Extracting Images:
This operation extracts all images from PDFs. Just upload all your PDFs and it will extract all images embedded
into your PDFs. Please don't upload encrypted PDFS, as this operation will fail to extract images from encrypted PDFs.
6- Compressing (reducing the size of PDFs):
It could be helpful to reduce the file size of your PDF documents to upload/share them online.
Note: the effectiveness of this operation depends on the structure of your PDF documents.
Sometimes you might not notice a huge reduction in file sizes. Please don't upload encrypted
PDFS, as this operation will fail to compress encrypted PDFs.
7- Watermaking:
Provide one PDF document named watermark.pdf. The application will watermark all selected PDFs using
only the first page of watermark.pdf. The watermark will be placed under objects such as texts,
images, annotations, etc. If you select multiple files named watermark.pdf only the last selected file
will be preserved and all other files named watermark.pdf will be dicarded.
**Note: files named watermark.pdf will not be watermarked.
Privacy:
Only processed files are saved temporarily.
